State Compliance

A state-by-state resource locator — the agencies and associations a dealer needs, by state.

Early prototype

What it is

State Compliance is an early prototype of a resource locator for dealers. Pick a state and it surfaces the key contacts a dealer needs there — the Independent Auto Dealers Association, the Department of Insurance, and Tags & Titles (licensing). It’s deliberately simple: look at one state and you get the idea of the tool. It’s largely incomplete — only a few states are filled in — and the concept may eventually be folded into the main Proguard website rather than living as a standalone app.

Early prototype — largely incomplete. Only a handful of states are populated, and the idea is still being shaped (it may merge into the main website). Use it to understand the concept, not as a finished tool.

Getting started

Step 1 of 5

Open it

Open the State Compliance prototype. It’s an early build, so expect rough edges and missing states.

Step 2 of 5

Pick a state

You’ll see a US map. States that have data are highlighted — click one to open its panel.

Step 3 of 5

Find the contact

The panel lists the dealer resources for that state: the Independent Auto Dealers Association, the Department of Insurance, and Tags & Titles (licensing) — each as a direct link.

Step 4 of 5

Open the link

Click a resource to open that agency or association in a new tab.

Step 5 of 5

See the idea

Try a populated state to get the concept — one click to the people a dealer needs, instead of searching. Most states aren’t filled in yet.
